Performance reporting for interfaces using mib2

Hi

I a new to OpenNMS.  I would like to set up performance reporting (graphs)
for switch interfaces (currently being monitored via snmp)  Is there any
documentation that simply goes through the steps how to set up graphing for
interfaces using I believe the default RRD.

any help in pointing me the right direction would be greatly appreciated...
