Hi Paul, PRIS is available since opennms I don't know, version 10 or something like that, so it's for sure running with 19.1.0. And Pris takes care of adding/deleting/modifying node information, including asset information, ip addresses, ... In fact, it probably is exactly what you have tried to program. It's really worth looking at it. We import node lists daily from excel sheets, triggered by a cron job. We just drop the excel sheet in the appropriate directory and wait until it's loaded.
