I put these settings in newts-cassandra-common and rebuild it and replace the jar in Opennms lib and pool busy exceptions disappeared!! The problem is: its not necessary to build a cassandra cluster for opennms just to write 1 million metrics in 5 minutes, Cassandra could handle this on a PC. So the client should be configurable to put more pressure on Cassandra if needed Sent using Zoho Mail ============ Forwarded message ============ From : Jesse White <[email protected]> To : <[email protected]> Date : Mon, 14 May 2018 05:20:53 +0430 Subject : Re: [opennms-discuss] cassandra pool is busy ============ Forwarded message ============ onmstester; On 2018-05-13 8:33 AM, onmstester onmstester wrote: > A Time Series database that should handle some millions insert in > collecting interval, also should consider using pooling options, > something like this is required: Good point. As far as I know, we haven't had to tune these settings in any deployments yet. Does settings these and tuning them have any affect in your environment?
