Hi Joe,

I don't know how much this really can help you, but I've just
recently enabled windows SNMP datacollection on 22.0 and it's working
fine for me.

Did you do an in-place upgrade or have your done a fresh installation?
We always upgrade by installing fresh. I had to update my
datacollection-config.xml to use the defaults as my original customised
version didn't include Microsoft collection, and just adding the
'microsoft.xml' then led to datacollection failures because of
dependencies on other MIBs.. It was easiest for me just to use the stock
config here.

For what it's worth - You probably want to look at the
/var/log/opennms/output.log and /var/log/opennms/collectd.log files to
see if there are any stack traces of collection errors there. You can
easily collected debug logs from collectd by editing
/etc/opennms/log4j2.xml and changing the loglevel for collectd from
"WARN" to "DEBUG".

It's probably also worth looking at the rrd files collected for each
node to see if they are actually increasing in size, and perhaps dump
their raw data to see if they're actually being populated by collectd - e.g.

echo -e dump http.jrb\\n . | java -jar
/usr/share/opennms/lib/jrobin-1.6.0.jar

(Note: I'm on Ubuntu Linux which I think uses different file paths to
RHEL/CentOS)

Hope you get this working.

Regards

Jonathan
