Hi Robert,

> Is there a package in datacollection-config, in collectd defining the data you want to have and is the node in the correct package, defined by ip or category or something else?

That's where you have to define what values opennms should collect. If there is nothing defined you probably will get only response times. Thos config files reside somewhere like /opt/opennms/etc, depending on your operating system.

As you don't even get response times - can you please provide the output from the following commands on the (linux??) command line?

echo "select * from node where nodeid=xxx;" |psql
echo "select * from ipinterface where nodeid=xxx;" |psql

You should see the nodeid on the node's page in the GUI just behind the node name.
You can change the ip's to something like 1.1.1.2 to hide them as long as you keep the changes consistent.

As you can ping the devices and make snmpwalks the problem obviously is how the nodes are configured in OpenNMS.
