I'm all for that. Mattermost doesn't do threaded discussions well, but seems to be excellent = for live discussions, however my timezone means my messages in mattermost t= end to get lost in the chat history. OpenNMS discuss works better for threaded discussions, but has the shortfal= l that any mailing list based discussions have in that old or unanswered qu= eries get lost, and there is no categorization possible. Discourse seems to provide that extra level of structure to help manage eve= ryone's queries that is missing from mattermost and the opennms-discuss mai= ling list. Lets go for it! In my very personal opinion it would make sense to establish a Mattermost a= nd a Discourse instance as the two default communication channels in our co= mmunity.
