Hewlett packard switch config

Hi,

started to look into extracting some data from HP5900 series of 
switches. I found the H3C MIBs and some other info via Cacti forums, but 
issue here is that they seem a bit cumbersome to map since first you 
need to figure out where CPUs, FANs, ports, etc are located in the MIBs 
which seem to differ a lot. For example first I need to list some OID to 
understand that .221 is a CPU, and this can be .200 in another switch, 
then I have to hard code this for each HP switch.

So questions I had for this groups:

1) Am I doing this in the wrong way?

2) Is there anyone that have integrated HP5xxx switches and are willing 
to share some config?
