Hi,DJ

 I have changed "lc_messages = 'C'" in  postgresql.conf file and restart db.
Run command $OPENNMS_HOME/bin/install -dis again.

 And occur the following error messages. Pls give some advice to me.thanks

Reading the error message thoroughly is usually a good start. ;-) 
Particularly this part:

I am having a ton of problems trying to integrate the two, basically I
went through the PDF and did everything I can think of there, and now
when I go into admin in opennms, and choose provisioning groups, it
bombs with an error.  Am I missing some changes in the xml files that I
need to make, or what exactly could I be missing?

You need to be more specific in stating your problem. Your stated  
problem is effectively: "I did something big and complex, and now when  
I do X, it breaks." That's not enough detail for us to help you,  
unless you are lucky enough for someone who has seen that exact  
problem to read your email.

It sounds like OpenNMS gave you a specific error--that would be an  
extremely good thing to share.  Also, knowing what steps you took up  
to this point would be good, particularly what config files you  
changed ("diff -u" is your friend).  Here are some good guidelines  
when asking for help:
