ONMS 1.6.10 - java taking 100% of CPU

New install of ONMS 1.6.10 on FC12.  Discovered a few devices without  
any problem.  I then added several IP address ranges to discover which  
should find approximately 500 devices.  System is now really slow with  
java consuming 100% of CPU.   Where do I begin ?
