Re: installation failing

Hi , 
 
I did the steps from the below mail. I paused the installation and i copied the jicmp.dll file to java bin direc tory, opennms lib directory and then started installation by clikcing on next. It is still failing saying jicmp.dll is not found. Is it because of wrong jicmp.dll version? 
 
Any ideas appreciated.

Please uninstall postgress , java 1.5 and openNMS completely from PC and also remove opennMS dirctory from program files then restart windows
 
1- Download and install JDK 6 Update 21 SE(Standard Edition), after installation copy Jcimp.dll to JDK_1.6_21 bin and lib directory 
2- Install postgress data base and add langugue as suggested in installation guide
3- Install openNMS and wait/pause where intaller asked to next for process execution before execution copy Jcimp.dll to openNMS lib directory
4- start process exection to complete registering with database.
open command prompt and OpenNMS bin directory openNMS.bat start and dont close this window wait for 1 minute to complete processes. after process completion leave the cmd window open.
5- go to explorer and start OpenNMS with localhost hopefully you will be succeeded.

I did the same like copying the KICMP.dll file to Java bin directory and etc. Now it is able to complete the installation part atleast.
 
But when i try to start the OpenNMS with the command "opennms.bat start", then it is failing.
 
 I am attaching 2 files to this mail.
 
1. log generated by OpenNMS installation wizard.
2. Command prompt - Failure message in command prompt while trying to start OpenNMS.
 
I will be thankful if any one has any clue on the same.

I have downloaded JCIMP.dll from download page and copy it to javan bin directory and also opennms lib directory then installed sucessfully now.

Still i am getting the same problem with the version 1.8.1. I suspect that there is problem with Windows 7 and OpenNMS combination.
