Re: How to receive Traps

Thank you very much for your answer. :)

Typing "opennms -v status" I can see the all the OpenNMS processes running,
including the trapd process.

Also, if I try "send-trap" script I can see that I receive 10 generic traps
in the event screen in the WebUI but I can't see any trap received from an
external device.

I have seen there is a config file called trapd-configuration.xml that has
the next inside:

<trapd-configuration snmp-trap-port="162" new-suspect-on-trap="false"/>

Perhaps should I change the "new-suspect-on-trap" option to true?

Any other idea? Any other thing a part of the trapd process that I can
check?.

It should by default. There is a Trapd process,

/usr/share/opennms/bin/opennms -v status

should show it running.
