Hi all, I am trying to figure out if OpenNMS can be used for my situation. I have multiple customer sites that I manage. I need a solution that can run on the client (Windows hosts) and collect data which will then be sent outbound through the companies firewall via 80 or 443, back to a central OpenNMS server on my network. Does OpenNMS work in this fashion, or do you need to be able to discover / hit each device you want to monitor from the OpenNMS server? Any information you can provide would be extremely appreciated.
