Re: Problems installing opennms on ubuntu

Hi,

Ive ran a opennms 1.7 in this server beforehand without any significant
problems. Then i decided to upgrade to the newest 1.8.10 version.

ubuntu 9.10
Postgresql 8.4 is used.
java 6 jdk


I started out clean, so that opennms databases are empty (created them
accordingly) , configurations etc are empty.

All is fine (according the debian installation guide) until its time to
install the software.

I cant get past the installers because opennms.properties (and all other
.xml files) are missing from the /etc/openms directory.. How is this
possible that after installation there are files missing?

Ive attached the installation procedure logs to the message (logs.txt)

Feel free to ask questions etc ill try to provide more facts as this gets
along.
