Hello,
Each of our colo facilities has an installation of OpenNMS 1.8.16. The installations are currently completely independent.
Each installation has its own node list, containing all the local nodes and all the other colos' nodes too.
We would like to unify, or at least coordinate, the OpenNMS installations' node lists, events, notifications, and all the rest.
For example, we would like interfaces found during discovery to propagate to other installations.
We would like to receive a single notification from a unified event queue, rather than one notification from each installation.
And of course we want multiple active OpenNMS installations, so the surviving installations can tell us when one colo craters.

Can you suggest a strategy for accomplishing this?
In the documentation I see mentions of remote monitoring, and of clustering, and of stand-by configurations, with varying levels of detail for each.

Thanks for any suggestions!
