Surveillance not working

2 week old fresh installation of OpenNMSon Ubuntu 11.10. Surveillance stopped working, not sure why. Also get the following error on Dashboard: com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.StatusCodeException: 500 The call failed on the server; see server log for details. Not sure what log to look at.
