I tried using same command "rpm -ivh jdk-7u7linux-x64.rpm" to install, it seems to conflict w/ 32-bit installed version. Should I install it at specific path dir or first uninstall that 32-bit version and then try above installing command? > > Please provide the steps as I am not that expert in linux. > > Thanks for your guidance so far....appreciate it I would 'rpm -e ' the 32-bit version. However, as an alternative I would have expected a yum install from the opennms repository to have installed a usable jdk for you under /usr/java. It won't be in your path, but if you put it's location in the environment when you execute runjava, it should set it up. cd /opt/opennms/bin JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/latest ./runjava -s -- Les Mikesell [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Don't let slow site performance ruin your business.
