Hi
Got the dashboard issue, it was due to the changes i had done on surveillance . Dashboard is configured to show dev/prod/test as by default . Any deletion or name change will affect dashboard. I had to finally put back DEV/PROD/TEST alternatively try edition surveillance-view.xml file

Enable a debug depth for Web logging in log4j.proprties and restart opennms gives you a detail log will help you to debug further.

Edit $OPENNMS_HOME/etc/java.conf and change it to the full path the JDK, and not the JRE.

This is my java version & java run works fine
java -version

OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 2.4.7) (7u55-2.4.7-1ubuntu1~0.12.04.2)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
please advise what all could be wrong
