Migrating opennms from Windows to CentOS

Hello, I'm trying to find out if anyone can offer guidance on this function as far as database transfer, and configuration steps? I currently have 322 nodes that would need to be moved over. I have the basic opennms package installed on a VM and it already seems to respond much faster than the Windows variant.
