Node names

Hello,

I have a number of servers and devices in OpenNMS that display in the Node List by IP address, but I'd like them to display by their name. I read that node labels are defined by DNS (we don't have any that are user defined) and so I had a couple of missing ones added to the reverse lookup zones as a test, but they're still showing in OpenNMS as IP addresses. I've tried doing a manual rescan but the names don't change.

SNMP Attributes shows the correct name. I don't want to user-define the names. There are too many nodes and it's too hard to manage. What am I missing here?

Thanks for your help. I searched the archives but couldn't find what I needed.
