JDK version error on install

I am running CentOS 7 and installed opennms version 18.0.1-1 from the opennms repo using yum. I have also installed PostgreSQL and the JDK. I made it through the PostgreSQL install and intialization and am encountering an issue when I try to register the JDK install with opennms using the javarun script. It's telling me that the JDK version is not an appropriate JDK, even after installing the JDK 1.8 from the opennms repo and also trying to install the latest JDK 1.8 from Sun. I am including the output of the script below as well as a directory listing for my JDK install, which clearly shows I have JDK version 1.8.0_60 installed. [root@localhost ~]# /opt/opennms/bin/runjava -S /usr/java/latest runjava: checking specified JRE: "/usr/java/latest"... runjava: /usr/java/latest is not Java 1.8 or newer. runjava: specified JRE "/usr/java/latest" is not an appropriate JRE [root@localhost ~]# ls -al /usr/java total 8 drwxr-xr-x. 3 root root 51 Jul 28 18:28 . drwxr-xr-x. 14 root root 4096 Aug 4 2015 .. lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 16 Jul 28 18:28 default -> /usr/java/latest drwxr-xr-x. 9 root root 4096 Jul 28 18:28 jdk1.8.0_60 lrwxrwxrwx. 1 root root 21 Jul 28 18:28 latest -> /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_60 Any assistance anyone can provide concerning this error would be appreciated.
