I think this change makes sense, but as "just a code change" it is a bit hard to find and remember (I think I understand what it does - use with `TEST_RUN_GROUP=2` to only get "2, 2a, 2b, ..." tests - but maybe we should make this explicit somewhere, like in the example t_client.rc file?)
