Successful logs do not provide insight into "why is it failing in

Seeing the *server* log for this case would be the most interesting part.

What you can see in the client log is "no response from server", which 
could be due to "server reply being sent from wrong source IP" or many
other reasons (certificate expired, server crash, ...)
