Creating Request File for Easy-RSA ?

In the Easy-RSA documentation after creating the CA file, under the 
heading; Importing requests to the CA. It mentions the command to use 
after the CA is created, although I do not know which `req` file it's 
referring too ? As well, I assume the nameOfRequest under the same 
heading is the name of the file to be used which can be the client 
requesting this request file ?
