My understanding is that we found a new volunteer to do a new "new forum"
(so the existing "forums-new" will be removed completely, and a new
"forums-new" with the old content will be created), and "this will happen
in the next weeks".

It's not me, and I am not the one who does server and software maintenance,
so I have no more definite information - except "we hear you, and yes,
it took to long"
