Hello Geert, Just a little confused... >You don't even need a second public ip. > What happens when you have a pptp server and a pptp client is that you create a new network. So say you have a server with eth0 192.168.0.1 an a internet >connection on eth1 217.148.1.1. You create the pptp connection making the connection to 217.148.1.1 and then the new network is created. The server now also has a >network with ip localip. The client is also connected to this network using a ip in the range of. Remoteip. These are all know as ppp+ interfaces. You mention a need to have two interfaces. eth0 and eth1, am I right? If so can I invent a private IP range for this eth0 interface to anything? If I dont have a second NIC in my server how do I go about actually creating this interface to generate all those private ips?
