Re: Cant ping clients

If you're still using a 2.2 or 2.4 kernel (I think 2.4 started using NETFILTER/iptables) you should upgrade.  There are many known issues with older kernels and you'll do yourself a disservice to be running that old of a system.  That being said, we're not here to help with iptables/ipchains rules.  I would suggest if you can't upgrade, looking to the lists related to iptables and ipchains.  Rusty Russell rewrote the NETFILTER code from the ground up to fix some major flaws in the old ipchains methodology.
