[Proftpd-user] proftpd-1.3.6 symlink issue

I have compiled and installed proftpd-1.3.6 on my RHEL6 server. I noticed that the symlinks are broken and it is not showing the correct path. The name of the symlink is being added to the path of the symlink in the anonymous chroot. Please see below: Incorrect path: lrwxrwxrwx 1 user1 group1 18 Sep 26 2012 000_readme.txt -> /000_readme.txt/pub/000_readme.txt Correct path: lrwxrwxrwx 1 user1 group1 18 Sep 26 2012 000_readme.txt -> pub/000_readme.txt I am not sure why it is adding the name of the file to the beginning of the path. This looks like a bug? Has anyone encountered this issue? Please let me know if there is a workaround for this? Thank you.
