We use “DefaultRoot ~” and this explication seems very reasonable.

I’ll check if we can disable this and see any different behaviour.

In the meantime, we use "SQLOptions NoDisconnectOnError” which seems to help - the sql error is now swallowed and the file upload operations seem to succeed, no temporary files left behind.
