Hi

I have 2 types of users in my SFTP
1.  publishers who can upload / delete files to one or more folders (read-only). 2.  subscribers who can only download files published by the publishers (but never upload).

Both types are virtual users.   I am able to create users assign the proper grouping for subscribers and limit them to the proper folders.
- My umask is 022.   - I have configured <Limit WRITE>  in the conf file for the publishers but am still getting 550 permission denied during upload.
Questions:

1.  How do I associate these virtual users to linux file permissions to allow write?2.  I also have multiple publishers working together who can upload/remove each other's files.   Can these be grouped into the same group?

if there is a step-by-step link (example) , that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
