Sorry for link broken, you are right i'm not sure at all EPSV is the culprit.

Do you know where is located the proftpd.conf file on freenas 11 because the one i found in /usr/local/etc /proftpd.conf  is automaticly  rewriten each time by FTP start in GUI.

So there is another one supposed "Master" which i can't find to make settings change.


sorry but i'm not an expert nor in linux or freebsd and FTP so if you want a log where i can find it ?

I only see broken XML there.
and I haven't asked for a capture, but for a log
you can try debug log from client and server too.


are you at all sure that EPSV/EPRT is the culprit here?
