Hi Dieter,

Once again, great info. Unfortunately, I see that scp doesn’t support the none cipher by default — a recompile of sshd/ssh is needed :( So, I tried aes-128-cbc and I’m getting results close to those of sshd. So, that’s good! The next option besides none is something week like arcfour but it’s not enable-able in proftpd though ssh does support that. Any other weak and fast ciphers you know about?
