Hi John, Thank you very much for your help and support. really this information help me a lot. Could you help me on below queries when you have some free time? I have tested login from other Linux host and working fine. Could you provide any standard document for configuring Proftpd so that i will compare and adjust if i see any difference in configuration file? I'm preparing this server for migration, current server is running with legacy H/W so part of H/W refresh we are migrating to new server. below are the current and new server details. Could you suggest me any special instructions required to migrate Proftpd from CentOS to OEL7.7? Please guide if any modification/additions required for migration plan? My plan is: New Host Build - completed with OEL 7.7 Network - swap the hostname/IP during migration time Storage - copy the current ftp homes data to new server install Proftp - completed copy users, home directories - completed copy cron jobs -- copied cron jobs current server details: ---------------------------- OS Version:CentOS release 5.9 (Final) Proftpd Version:proftpd-1.3.4b-1.el5 New server details: --------------------------- OS version:OEL-7.7 Proftpd Version: proftpd.x86_64 0:1.3.5e-9.el7 and proftpd-utils.x86_64 0:1.3.5e-9.el7 Regards Naresh On Fri, May 8, 2020 at 6:33 AM John Stoffel <[email protected]> wrote: > > Naresh> Could you please help me on below request? > > > > Naresh> I installed below Proftp versions on OEL7.7 for testing , will > Naresh> it work?, Could you review and help me on this please? > > Yes, it will work.
