if you like to do something with rsync then you are on the incorect 
maillist :)

its not hard to setup a rsync server to your needs, just remember to 
make rsync server READ only, the client can then not make mistakes

think in reverse if you want to sync from home, then the server should 
be at home, and the client should just be on the internet, this will fit 
nicely on secureity aswell

lastly dont make it without password

to make it strong on auth limit it to the client static ip aswell
