[Proftpd-user] Init script for RHEL8

We are migrating our proftpd from RHEL7 to RHEL8.  We copied our /etc/init.d script but it does not work.  Curious if someone has conquered this issue. Proftpd does start when calling /usr/sbin/proftpd directly.
