kernel opts for DHCP ?

I am trying to run a DHCP client on RH7.1.
I am having problems and want to check I have the correct kernel options
compiled in.

Does anybody know what kernel options are required for pump and dhcpcd ? I
know that packet sockets is What about packet filtering and netfilter ?
There are probably some other as well.
