421 service not avaiable

Hi All!

I installed pureftpd on cygwin. But I couldn't get it work properly.

I downloaded pureftpd pureftpd 1.0.20, and compiled it
--with-everything so I can use puredb auth.

Then added a test user "test" in puredb. And started the server

     /usr/local/sbin/pure-ftpd -l puredb:/etc/pureftpd.pdb

But when I connected to the server, I couldn't get in. Here is what it showed:

$ ftp localhost
Connected to yao-thinkpadx31.
220---------- Welcome to Pure-FTPd ----------
220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed.
220-Local time is now 21:12. Server port: 21.
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Name (localhost:Yao): test
331 User test OK. Password required
Password:
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection
ftp: Login failed.
ftp: No control connection for command: No such file or directory


By the way, I googled the web and found this page:

This guy just ran into the same problem, and he is not on cygwin, so I
guess this should be nothing to do with cygwin.

Is there anything else possibly wrong? Please help!
