insecure permissions on pipe..

hi guys,

i've started playing with pure-uploadscript, for the sake of inserting 
some ad code to uploaded html pages instead of trying to figure out the 
undocumented apache2 api (..)

and i did Read That Fine Manual, and chown'd the pipe to 0:0, chmod'd it 
to 0600
i still get this error message:
"Insecure permissions on /var/run/pure-ftpd.upload.pipe"

googled too, nothing

feeling kinda helpless.. any ideas?
