well.., first of all, thanks for your reply

# rm /var/run/pure-ftpd.upload.pipe
# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/pure-ftpd.sh restart
# pure-uploadscript -r /path/to/uploadscript
Unable to open /var/run/pure-ftpd.upload.pipe: No such file or directory

:( permissions on /var/run are OK
also, pure-ftpd has been compiled --with-uploadscript
