Hi Jason :) * Whaley, Jason <[email protected]> dixit: > I had tried it both with and without a space and received the same result. Well, the only reason for that error to appear is that the "puredb" authentication method is not built in and that means that WITH_PUREDB was not defined, which in turn means that you didn't give "--with-everything" or "--with-puredb" when you built your binary. Check if you installed the binary after building (things like this has happened to me in the past), if you have two different servers in different locations and the old one is being invoked, etc. I can't find, looking at the sources, any reason for that message to appear if the support for puredb was enabled :?? Probably your best bet is to build from pristine sources and invoke the server directly from the directory where it was built. I can't think of a better solution: as I told, looking at the sources the only cause for that error is that the support is not enabled. And BTW, from the sources I see that spaces are not allowed between the option and the argument.
