Trying to make pure-ftpd log to fifo

Hello,

I've been trying to write a pure-ftpd log to sql little C utility, so I 
did a fifo using mkfifo /var/log/pure-ftpd.log. Then I start pure ftpd 
with the option -O clf:/var/log/pure-ftpd.fifo. The problem is that when 
I do cat /var/log/pure-ftpd.log, nothing comes out, and it seems that 
pure-ftpd don't like to log in a fifo and sends nothing.

Est-ce qu'un ancien atariste-démomaker peu m'en dire un peu plus? :)
