I am not trying to alleviate any particular problem. I just cam across
this item while reading the ClamAV documentation and checking out their
web site. I thought the option to force virus checking of a item
uploaded would be a good idea. ClamAV does not do it by default, and I
could not see a method available to force it to do so using pure-ftpd.

I use ClamAV so I thought it might simplify life a little.
