On, I ddn’t see any process name vtysh .

I install quagga from Deb packages , the configure file seems difference to original .

It use /etc/quagga/daemon and /etc/quagga/debian.conf to define what to run.

Hi Goodman,

vtysh is a shell for quagga. Zebra is a routing manager for some quagga components.

https://linux.die.net/man/8/zebra
http://www.nongnu.org/quagga/docs/docs-multi/Zebra-Protocol.html

You're asking some questions that could be solved with quick search for the internet or reading man pages. I think you should do a bit of background reading on quagga. The people on this list are willing to help, but they prefer to work with people who do a bit of research before coming to the list with questions.

Best Regards,
Michael.

Hi list

Is there unit management process to provide a remote access to configure all router protocols ?

Since I search the listening port of quagga , every single route protocol has its own listening port, and connecting to those TCP port , you can only management protocol itself .
