I've been able to use rdesktop with TS2008 if I set encryption to HIGH
instead of FIPS, but I would like to use the FIPS encryption option.

Message:
I've done a serious amount of googling and there appears to be be no
support for RDP access via a TS Gateway outside of Windows XP SP2 and
Vista. I understand from a post at a Linux forum that the standards for
6.1 have been posted on the MSDN web site but there appears to be no-one
developing a Linux client to support it. Short of this the only option for
thin client users is to use a patched copy of Windows XP Embedded which
frankly would be a nightmare to create the images for for just a handful of
thin clients.
