Summary: smartcard login problems

Initial Comment:
Hi,

we use rdesktop (1.6) with an aladdin smartcard. It works so far ok expect automatic login with given user credentials.

If we use "rdesktop -r scard host" the pin login appears and the desktop is shown after a valid pin was entered. When we try it with "rdesktop -r scard -p password host" the pin dialog appears, but the password is not filled into the pin dialog. Another try with "rdesktop -r scard -u test -p password host" shows, that the user and password is filled into the normal user/password-dialog which fails, because smartcard authentication is required. The second time an error dialog is raised which says that the password is wrong, but after the dialog is confirmed the password is insert correctly into the pin dialog and the login is successful.

The question is how can we force rdesktop to fill the password into the pin dialog and not in the user/password-dialog?

Best regards,
Thomas

Message:
I'm afraid you can't. This is a limitation in Microsoft's authentication
dialog. :/
