Q re connection sharing patch

Hi,

in 2007, Fontis released a patch against rdesktop to implement connection
sharing (http://www.fontis.com.au/rdesktop). I'm currently working in a large
customer project that implements a 85,000 seat Linux desktop environment where
we need to seamlessly integrate various Windows-only apps hosted on W2008R2
RDP application servers. The Windows admins want to use connection sharing. 

I built a custom rdesktop package based on Red Hat's rdesktop-1.6.0-7 package
for RHEL 6 (no rejects, just two hunks, no compile errors). We will be testing
the build in a PoC setup in the next 3 weeks.  The question is what plans
there are to accept the patch upstream, because if we ask Red Hat for an RFE
the answer will be "is it upstream" ;-) 

So - any news on this? 

It is also very likely that NLA will be implemented in the project. No idea
about the timeframe but since we want to go live in March 2011 it's gonna be
2010 I guess. I'll keep you updated.
