hello,

i am using thinstation 2.2.2d. i am using gemalto .net v2 smart cards, and a
gemalto reader. i am using thinstation to connect to a 2008 (not r2)
terminal server via rdesktop. everything was working fine, until i switched
my CA from a 2003 machine to a 2008 r2 machine. now, new smart cards issued
with user certs from the 2008 r2 CA do not work from thinstation. the reader
and pcscd seem to be working just fine, and the option to log in via smart
cards shows up when i connect to a terminal server, but when i insert a
smart card it says 'no valid certificates found'. the same card works fine
from an xp rdp session. i am using 1024 bit keys as i read somewhere that
rdesktop does not support 2048 bit keys, but i can not find any other
documentation for configuring certs to use with rdesktop. i have also tried
freerdp, but smart card support seems to have been left out for now. any
help would be greatly appreciated! thanks,

chris nelson
