Initial Comment:
Linux version : Ubuntu 10.04
Rdesktop version : 1.6.0
Remote connection to a any Windows version

If you try to open remote connection with long -s argument it will be stripped by 256 symbols.
My example:
rdesktop -s "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio11\visio.exe C:\test\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\test.vsd" 192.168.16.100
After logging into system it fail with Eror File not fount C:\test\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\123456789\12345
