Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Support for RDP v6.x Initial Comment: Is this being worked? would like to connect to VISTA/Server 2008... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2009-08-20 23:19 Message: I would like to suggest to anyone that keeps asking for RDP 6 support is that if you need it and can't do it yourself, to go to somewhere like rentacoder.com and add a bid for it. How about pay a bit of money for something you always have it for free? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Chris (cstein1) Date: 2009-08-20 22:33 Message: Is there any development for rdesktop to support Session Broker Server 2008? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: PaulT (tarricop) Date: 2009-05-14 21:50 Message: I've been able to use rdesktop with TS2008 if I set encryption to HIGH instead of FIPS, but I would like to use the FIPS encryption option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2009-04-22 03:46 Message: I've done a serious amount of googling and there appears to be be no support for RDP access via a TS Gateway outside of Windows XP SP2 and Vista. I understand from a post at a Linux forum that the standards for 6.1 have been posted on the MSDN web site but there appears to be no-one developing a Linux client to support it. Short of this the only option for thin client users is to use a patched copy of Windows XP Embedded which frankly would be a nightmare to create the images for for just a handful of thin clients. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381348&aid=2407903&group_id=24366 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2
