The Windows 2000 terminal server has a 90-day grace period
before it must find a license server. During this grace
period, the terminal server allows connections from clients
without license tokens. If this 90-day grace period has
passed and the terminal server still has not located a
license server, the terminal server provides sessions only
to clients that have been issued a license token. If a
Windows 2000 terminal server locates a Windows 2000 license
server during this grace period, the grace period is
immediately ended.

Any update on this? I'm getting the same thing. I've had
the user log off. Still no go. Port scanning indicates
that 3389 is not open yet remote desktop support is turned on.

What the heck?

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
