Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Haryono Tafianoto (ono-neko) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Cannot connect to Win2K3 while Wint2K is fine Initial Comment: I am using rdesktop 1.3.1 on Fedora Core 1 (using latest Xfree86 with KDE as my desktop). I can connect to Win2000 with no problem at all, but I cannot connect to Win2003. There is no error msg. If I run from my shortcut, there will be a hourglass animation, but it'll be gone after awhile. If I run it from terminal console, it will just do nothing. This is how I run it: rdesktop -u Administrator hostname.com What I have tried: * without -u * with -5, -4, or -0 just for the heck of trial and error none helps. So I am stuck. Please tell me what I should try. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Samuel (samhed) Date: 2011-07-11 11:50 Message: Resolved, closing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2004-07-04 16:50 Message: Logged In: NO you have to be in the remote desktop user group on the w2003 system otherwise log in will fail. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2004-02-24 02:31 Message: Logged In: NO I am using and got the display problem. after type in the command and follow the password line, then Enter and show Error: failed to open display.
